I'm Heather, and I'm borderline obsessed, or passionate, about making videos. I've been this way since I was quite young, so there really is no changing it - I love what I do!
I could tell you all about how it started, what I've done, and what I want to do, but that would take up a lot of space and most people don't read more than a few lines of anyones 'about me' page. However, to show my type A personality off a little, I'll make a bullet point list of things I really like, and maybe you'll find we have things in common!
These are a few of my favorite things:
If you want the full bio that I wrote to sound like I'm super professional and all that, it's right after this little paragraph. I just think it's refreshing to be a bit human at times, don't you? Hope it made you smile a little while reading this. I'm honored that you are wanting to know more about me. Contact me so we can get to know each other and so I can make that video you want or need (it's probably both!).
Since she was a child, Heather has often been found behind a camera creating short films, capturing engaging moments, and perfecting filming techniques. From an early age, Heather understood how video had the power to change peoples lives, perspectives, and attitudes. Heather began Kindled Pinecone Productions to do just that. Her passion for authentic filmmaking, quality work, and her desire to inspire others gives her great motivation, energy, and creative spark.
Over the years Heather’s passion for creating videos has grown. Although some might consider her obsessed with filmmaking, others know it’s the perfectionist within that drives her to create authentic, quality films. She is now working full-time as a visual communicator and strives diligently to reach out to larger audiences. Heather is convinced that she is living in a unique time in history where videos have the ability to impact the world for future generations like never before. Therefore, she approaches each project with readiness to kindle and inspire the hearts of her audience.
When Heather isn’t out filming she can be found doing adventurous things like cave spelunking, hiking/exploring, or grocery shopping (that can be an adventure too!). Her faith, family, and friends are very important aspects of her life and she can be found spending much time engaging in/with them. Some things Heather enjoys are munching french fries with friends, chasing sunset’s with her camera, and organizing her whole house.
Heather’s goals for the future are to produce a full length feature film, travel internationally more, self renovate her dream home, and teach a class on the art of good communication.
Why Kindled Pinecone?
There's actually a reason for why I named my business Kindled Pinecone Productions! It's interesting, so you should read it.
Kindled: to set fire, inspire, motivate.
This is the vision for each video that is created at Kindled Pinecone Productions. Although a single video might not change the world it just might inspire you, which then would (perhaps) change the world.
Pinecone: throughout all of history the pinecone has been a symbol of enlightenment and eternal life.
Heather (Owner/Filmmaker) has always been collecting pinecones. Whether that be pictures of pinecones or actual ones, she found herself collecting them. The pinecone’s simple and esthetically pleasing design, as well as it’s symbolism, were reason’s which inspired Heather to incorporate it into her video production business. There you have the simple breakdown of what Kindled Pinecone Productions means and it’s intended purpose.
Inspire others through an authentic, simple and esthetically pleasing video/film that tells the real and important stories of today, the kind that change you which in turn changes the world.
